Bree's been pushed and pushed by Andrew's her son tortures, but this week may have been the ultimate test. When Andrew learned that sister Danielle wouldnt seduce Bree's boyfriend, Peter, he apparently did the seducing himself. A destroyed Bree drove her son out of town and left him at the side of a lonely road with his luggage.
Betty took Caleb on what was to be his farewell picnic, but as she fed him the poisoned ice cream, he revealed that it was Mattew who told him to attack Danielle. That changed things for Betty completely. She stopped Caleb in time and took him home. where she locked Mattew in the basement dungeon once meant for his brother.
Tom got fired when he decked Ed at work. But Before the punch, Ed had hired people to investigate his employees' expense records. He revealed to Lynette that Tom's record seem to indicate he might be carrying on an extramarital affair.
Gabrielle and Carlos' maid Xiao Mei, was on the verge of deportation. The couple convinced her that serving as their surrogate mother would keep her here in the U.S., and by the end of the episode , she'd tearfully agreed.
Thinking Edie's detective was on to her, Susan stupidly wrote a letter to Edie confessing her her fling with Karl. But when she learned that Mike had paid off the PI, she tried to get the letter back. Her mailman was confused by her attempt into thinking she was seducing him, and an innocent Julie slipped the letter back into the outgoing mail. Edie read it and sought immediate revenge, by torching Susan's house.
