Right Side of the Wrong Bed
When opposites attract, sparks fly, and differences arise, can a couple keep the romance going, or are they simply two strangers waking up on the right side of the wrong bed? Kenny Kane and Jeremy Lopez have nothing in common, on the surface, when they chance upon each other at a birthday party neither planned to attend. Kenny, thirty-three, an academic, African American, and just out of a seven-year relationship, stumbles into Jeremy while trying to avoid contact with his ex, DaVon Holloway. Though their initial encounter is awkward, Kenny finds himself on the receiving end of Jeremy’s interest. This is quite a surprise to Kenny, considering that Jeremy is twelve years younger, a college student, “straight-up East L.A.” as Jeremy describes himself, and is a little more urban than Kenny has been used to in his straight-laced life. Kenny and Jeremy encounter resistance from their best friends, family, ex-lovers and Jeremy’s "everybody" -- both ex and current partners -- who work their way through Jeremy’s life and relationship with Kenny. Through their rollercoaster relationship, Kenny and Jeremy love and argue hard, make up harder, and must ultimately decide if they are the right partners for each other.Set against the urban contemporary scene of Los Angeles and East L.A., Right Side of the Wrong Bed is a novel that explores the sexy and sensational dynamics of young men, big cities, and romance. SUMMER 2007, Kensington Publishing Co.
