Wow people is all i can say if you were in Orlando last weekend for the Florida Classic the biggest largest HBCU Football Game weekend of all the HBCUs and i must admit that the anthem for the whole entire weekend was Ms Mary J. Blige "Just Fine" i mean every body was blasting to that song. but anywho down to business people i must say i had a great time and again i would like to thank promoters: Wet Promotions(Trish), Whatsthet.com(Tron), andf WassupNAtl(Mario & staff) for a great great weekend and all of my peeps i got to hang wit thank you.
Friday: It was off to PRIME Outlet Mall to do some much needed shopping and get the gear for the weekend i must say i enjoyed the PRIME oulets and cant wait to head back.
Friday Nite: It was on and poppin at Forgarate's where close to 500 gay and lesbians came together and i must admit that when i got their around 1230 that i was not amazed in the leasr bit due to the fact all i saw were lesbians i was like were are the men but sure enough they started showing up and if started to get crunk. DJ Surreal did her thing and knew when to play all the right songs she even did it for the grown and sexy over 25 crowd with all the old school hits that we all loved. and what floored me about the entire night was when the ENTIRE club started doing the cupid shuffle was a good thing to see. I danced, I laughed and closed the club at 3 so kuddos to trish on a good event. And oh yea also in the house were K-Rock Productions Models Bombay and someone else i couldnt get their names.
Saturday: I got up early and headed out to the citrus bowl for the tailgate party before the 330 match up between Florida Agriculture & Mechnical University and Bethume Cookman University where i eat til i couldnt eat anymore. i took in all of the atmosphere of the area as thousands of people walked around, danced, sang and had a good time. Thanks to the Cambric family for some very very good eatins.
Saturday nite: it was an very interesting nite had by all where over 1,000 men came together to party to the much hyped event of the entire classic weekend. Well i got to the sheraton about 1220 and the line was already long to get in. people were mingling about the ballroom and enjoying themselves. Flavaworks models were selling the products, r&b singer Phylle was talking to guests, and backstage the k-rock dancers were getting ready to hit the stage everything was looking good until 1245 Sheraton Hotel security walks into the ballroom and orders the DJ to shut the music off. everyone looked around confused as to what the fuck is goin on. i see tron and wassupnatl staff running around tryin to figure what goin on 2. but in the end at 330 as i left the sheraton hotel the music never came back on. but i was admit though that even though the music did not come back on and some people were upset for the most part majority of folks had a good time making the best of an bad situation.
Sunday nite: It was off to the Parliament house were folks came out for the drag show it was cute. and that folks was the end to a good weekend in orlando pics forthcoming to this week.
