yes according to reports it is indeed true that Girlfriends will end their 8 year run tonite at 8pm on the CW it became the longest-running live-action sitcom currently on network television, as well as one of the highest-rated scripted shows on television among African-American adults and women 18-34. The final episode will be shown tonite. This is all due to the Writer's Guild Strike it sucks that this had to happen and they were given a proper series finale.
The CW Television Network may have ended the series on Monday, February 11th, without so much as a proper series finale. However, the more people that voice their complaints to The CW and CBS, then The CW may film a finale hour long finale.
