Ft. Lauderdale held its first AIDS Walk today in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale where hundreds of people came together to fight the good fight and to raise money and awarness for people living with HIV/AIDS. Unfourtunately i was unable to attend the walk since i was in Tampa lookin at my condo investment but my fellow co-workers and community activists held it down and i know thousands were raised and next year's walk will be even better. Thanks to Hal Sparks, the crew from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Wilson Cruz and everyone who showed up and take part as well. There were a total of 136 teams participating in the walk with the top 20 teams raising 90,469.00 way to go. With my agency Children's Diagnostic & Treatment Center raising 3,555.00 coming in 6th place among the 136 teams. Way to GO TEAM CDTC!
