This year's event is expected to draw nearly 2,000 members of the nation's African American gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community along with their families, supporters, and friends. Of course the evening would not be complete without Ummah's signature HIV/AIDS prevention information and messaging interspersed and available throughout the night. The White Attire Affair is an HIV/AIDS fundraiser and social marketing event. Portions of all proceeds are donated to a local organization who is directly involved in HIV/AIDS.
The night will feature live entertainment, celebrity guests, food, drinks, dancing, and music by some of the nation's most renowned DJ's. Ummah's very own Models of Perfection will rip the runway in a high-energy, glamorous, all white fashion show.
